I am Wojciech Szatanik, founder of SELF WINDOWS. My background includes over 12 years in the window and door industry and five years as Production Director for aluminium and steel windows. I work with US clients on residential and commercial projects, combining CAD drafting with a practical understanding of profiles, glazing, hardware and production.
We can support aluminium and steel window and door projects, sliding assemblies and custom details. Drawings are prepared using the project requirements and technical information available for the selected system.

Questions about outsourcing shop drawings.
Can you prepare drawings in feet and inches?
Yes. For US projects, drawings can use architectural feet and inches. Metric drawings can also be prepared; units and sheet format are agreed before drafting.
What information is needed for a quotation?
Architectural drawings or a window schedule, the selected systems, available technical details, required deliverables and your target deadline. If some information is missing, we can first discuss what is needed to define the scope.
Do you provide CAD files as well as PDFs?
Yes. CAD and PDF deliverables are available. File formats, sheet sizes and drawing conventions are agreed to suit your workflow.
Can you revise existing window and door drawings?
Yes. Send the existing files and a clear list of changes so we can assess the work and provide a quotation.
Do shop drawings include engineering approval?
The service is technical drafting and coordination. Engineering calculations, certification or stamped approval are not included unless separately arranged. Final dimensions, system suitability and installation requirements must be reviewed and approved by the responsible project parties.
